New TAC Studies
Men are more likely to drive over the alcohol and speed limit, "all or most of the time" according to new studies done by Victorian Transport Accident Commission (TAC).
After surveying 900 Victorian motorists, the study showed males are significantly more likely to drive when near or over the .05 BAC level and to rate the risk of an accident as "low".
TAC CEO Janet Dore spoke out, "It's extremely frustrating that despite our continuous reinforcement of the fact... there are people out there who still think it's OK to drive above the limit."
