Drink Driving -Across the World
The message of, "Don't Drink and Drive" is spreading rapidly across the world. Australia has been regarded as having the most graphic or intense anti Drink Driving campaigns but with a big push for backing several Indian College students are looking to push their campaign even further!
5 final year St Andrews College Mass Media students in New Delhi have started a campaign called "Dead End". The project started with distributing bookmarks, class timetables, tissue boxes, tag-alongs for bags and mobile phone covers carrying the slogan, "Don't Drink and Drive" to spread the message.
They are now planning to take their campaign to other colleges and even onto the streets to create awareness among as many people as possible.
The students commented they made the decision to push this campaign after they received a huge response from students in their college. "We are planning to approach various NGOs and even Traffic Police to take our campaign to the next level. We need strong backing to take this campaign to other colleges and create a bigger impact."
The drink drive limit in India is .03% BAC
Alcosense breathalysers commend these students on such great success in pushing this campaign so far and look forward to seeing it rolled out across India!
