Banned a Week after buying car
A UK Teenager has been banned from driving only a week after purchasing his first car, according to local news. He was tested at three times the UK legal limit (.08) when Police caught up with him.
The teenager was said to have taken responsibility and after a night out at a friends house drinking he had decided to sleep in his car rather than drive home drunk.
"He slept, woke up, dusted himself down and started to drive."
Concerned drivers then phoned police when they noticed him driving erratically and Police Constable Seal finally caught up with him when his car had broken down on the A21.
It is still surprising how many people think a little sleep will 'cure' their drunkeness. There is absolutely nothing but time that will see you eventually sober up and right to drive. If you're unsure though, get an alcosense breathalyser and know your limit!
